National Energy Action (NEA) and Waterwise have worked in partnership to deliver a joint energy and water efficiency training package, with a particular focus on consumers in situations of vulnerability.
The project to develop this course forms part of a wider water and energy efficiency work package bid funded by the Collaborative Fund. This fund is linked to the UK Water Strategy to 2030 and is contributed to by water companies across the UK.
The course is designed to give information and practical advice to those working with consumers who may be in fuel or water poverty, and/or situations of vulnerability, in both the energy and/or water sectors. Its main aim is to equip learners with the knowledge they need to support water and energy consumers, including identifying those who may be at risk; provide advice on how to save water and energy where possible, and signpost to external assistance from relevant organisations for both sectors.
For more information and to sign up please visit the training page on NEA’s website here.
