This September, Waterwise marks 20 years of action to improve water efficiency and protect water resources across the UK. Since its founding, Waterwise has influenced policy, partnered with communities, and driven practical initiatives that help households, businesses, and organisations to reduce water waste.

To celebrate this milestone, Waterwise is launching a series of activities throughout September, including the #20for20 campaign, which encourages people to take simple, effective water-saving actions over 20 days. As part of the campaign, a series of videos featuring 20 voices from across the water sector and beyond will share reflections on the past 20 years and hopes for the next two decades.

In addition, Waterwise will host an exclusive 20th anniversary celebration event at BFI South Bank. The invitation-only event will bring together leaders from across the water sector to reflect on Waterwise’s achievements and explore the future of water efficiency in the UK.

Ministerial Endorsement and Sponsors

Minister Hardy sends her well wishes for the celebrations and is looking forward to seeing the activities.

Waterwise also extends its thanks to Silver Sponsor Triton and Pledge Sponsor Bristan for supporting the anniversary activities.
