Waterwise, the UK’s leading authority on water efficiency, is pleased to announce a new corporate partnership with Hansgrohe Group. With its brands AXOR and hansgrohe, the Hansgrohe Group enjoys a reputation as a leader in innovation, design and quality within the bathroom and kitchen industry. This collaboration brings together two organisations committed to advancing sustainable water usage.

As an industry leader, Hansgrohe is known for its cutting-edge design, German build quality, and commitment to innovation. The company’s wide range of water and energy-saving products, including showers, taps, and kitchen appliances, highlights its dedication to sustainability.

This partnership aligns seamlessly with both Waterwise’s mission to ensure water is used wisely, everywhere, every day, by everyone, and Hansgrohe’s ongoing efforts to enhance the water experience while driving forward the development of eco-friendly products.

By helping consumers understand the importance of water efficiency, Hansgrohe is empowering individuals to actively address the challenges of water conservation, while supporting the vital awareness and education initiatives championed by Waterwise. The partnership will enable Waterwise to deliver its quarterly water efficiency training; support the organisation’s Water Saving Week campaign running from 12 – 16 May, and help to build awareness of the issues surrounding water scarcity in the UK.

Julie McLean, Marketing Director for Hansgrohe UK & Ireland said: “At Hansgrohe, we are committed to creating amazing water experiences through our showering and bathing products, whilst also championing sustainability. Our corporate partnership with Waterwise is a natural step in amplifying the message of water efficiency and inspiring conscious usage. Together, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of saving water, not just for today, but for future generations. By combining our innovative engineering with Waterwise’s expertise, we hope to make a real impact on reducing water waste across the UK.”

Claire Spendley, Head of Commercial Services at Waterwise, added: “This collaboration marks an exciting first for Waterwise as we join forces with a major global manufacturer at the forefront of design technology with a direct impact on water usage. Hansgrohe’s dedication to creating sustainable products, aligns with our mission to reduce water wastage. Together, we hope to inspire change and create a ripple effect across the industry, making it easier for all of us to adapt how we use water in our everyday lives.

Companies like Hansgrohe lead the way in designing innovative solutions that play a pivotal role in shifting attitudes and practices towards better water usage – a critical factor in addressing global water challenges.

With the global population and demand for resources set to grow exponentially, it is predicted that by 2050, the world will require an additional 5 billion litres of water per day. This makes the need for efficient water use more urgent than ever before.

Waterwise continues to support UK communities, businesses and organisations in understanding the value of water and adopting practices that will ensure a sustainable water supply for the future.
